Hello, Friends, I hope you had a good weekend.
I had a busy weekend, pet-sitting my
daughter's two mini-dachshunds,
doing a bit of garden clean up,
visiting friends for dinner
Saturday night with Ramblin' Man,
visiting friends for dinner
Saturday night with Ramblin' Man,
then grocery shopping and visiting
with my daughter, Sunday evening.
I also finished my Little Crochet Baskets!
I found the pattern on Pinterest, crocheted
with 'Kitchen cotton' and a small hook
using single crochet and half double crochet stitches.
These little baskets are perfect to hold
my embroidery threads and buttons.
I crocheted these button flowers
using This Tutorial.
Sometimes I like quick projects that don't
take weeks to make!
These little baskets can be tucked anywhere
to hold craft supplies, jewelry, keys, small trinkets, etc.
I also made some for the kitchen.
These are nice for holding baking supplies
or tea packets, candy, cookie cutters, etc.......
They have a sweet retro vibe......
So sweet with my Mother's 1959 Betty Crocker
cookbook.
Charming on my Mother's Kitchen Queen.
I am in love with red lately.
Bright and happy on these dreary winter days.
Red flowers are always happy!
(Even if they are silk :)
These little baskets make charming gifts.
Perfect for Valentine's Day treats, too!
xoxo

Sweet friend, your baskets are adorable! They remind me of the fabric ones I make for my Etsy shop {{smiles}}
ReplyDeleteI just love the red and white ones and they look perfect in your kitchen. Have a lovely week! Hugs!
Karen, What sweet projects. You must have had so much fun working on these. Like you, I have been drawn to red of late, which is completely unlike me. As red has never been a go-to for me, in wardrobe or in decorating, but I do have hints of red around our house -- nothing red in my wardrobe.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy February!
