Life is made up of Captured Moments.
Those special moments that stand against the sands of time.
Maybe remembered at the end of the day,
Or maybe for a lifetime.
Over a lifetime we gather the threads of these special moments in time.
The good and the bad.
And sometimes the truly awful.
We all know those moments.
The ones that are hard to forget.
But to weave a beautiful life,
you must intertwine all of these experiences,
choosing your colors wisely.
For the colors you choose
determines the beauty of the tapestry of your life.
Sometimes we don't put enough emphasis on the colors that please us the most.
Our Captured Moments are recalled in somber colors.
When you start to think of your life as a tapestry of Captured Moments -
Those come to the forefront rather quickly.
They have a beauty of their own.
These are the times in your life that are colored in somber hues.
Life is not always bright and happy sunrises.
You weave with what you've got -
earthy, somber, quiet colors.
But if you look upwards, soon you can see the colors change.
Having gratitude for all of life's experiences,
no matter how somber,
and all that you learn,
lift's your spirits once more.
Soon you are once again noticing the sky, the sunrise,
and finding those joyful colors once more.
And as you weave your way through life's tapestry,
you can seek out those Captured Moments of joyful colors
to rise above the somber hues,
creating your very own beautiful work of art.
I love these pictures! :) and the thoughts that you shared.

ReplyDeleteBeautifu photo's! I can't believe how stunning they are!! I loved your truck story. We had a 1960's chevy that my parents bought from my grandparents. It was seafoam green. I was so embarrassed by it, I would make my parents drop me off around the block. I would kill to have that truck now!!
