Hello, Dear Friends, in this season of giving thanks,
come along with me on a late autumn drive,
as we ponder the true meaning of gratitude
with some favorite quotes of mine.
As we descend the foothills that I call home,
we see bright, glowing cottonwood against
dark evergreens. These stately trees are the last
to loose their leaves and are putting on
a final, luminous show.
Mornings are frequently sprinkled with frost.
The rising sun illuminates the trees
creating silver and gold.
I am out early 2 days a week
to help with my 3 little grandsons
who I'm very grateful for.

Autumn is still lingering around your neck of the woods, and it's so lovely. The cottonwood trees are pretty, and I love to see the frost on the lawns in the early mornings. The white fences along the homes are charming. That white precious dog of yours really stands out against the Autumn leaves. I smiled when I saw that quote, 'I was complaining that I had no shoes,' as my brother shared that with me many years ago. And I think my favorite quote of all was Maya Angelou's. Not sure if I told you, but she is my favorite writer. It's such a pleasure to see the seasons each year around your home, Karen. And it's special that you are a woman of gratitude.
