A Merry Christmas to my Dear Friends

The cookies are baked for Santa...

And we will be dreaming of Sugar Plums...

So, I will wish you a Merry Christmas....

And a Happy New Year!
xoxo

While making Christmas plans my Dear Daughter, Heather,
who has been battling bronchitis for weeks,
was admitted to the hospital for some intravenous
antibiotics, as the oral pills were not doing the job
and she now has pneumonia.
She is responding well, already, and the Dr. said
she might be able to come home for Christmas.
If not, we will postpone our celebration until she can join us.

So this year, we have some wonderful things to be grateful for.
Wishing you and your family many wonderful blessings, too,
as you celebrate Christmas and the New Year.
xoxo

  13. I hope that your daughter is much better again very soon and can make it home for Christmas and that your day will be as good as it possibly can - because you can still have Christmas in the hospital I hope. Thinking of you and sending best wishes of all things for a great day and a wonderful 2015. xx

  14. Not a fun way to spend the Christmas celebrations, but I pray she gets well , and you are all able to rejoice even more at the blessings of family support, strength, and prayer for God's healing throughout this time. The celebration of our Savior's birth, death, & resurrection requires nothing more than faith , and a family brought together in a hospital supporting & praying for a loved one can be joyous no matter the circumstance. Bless you. ( I hope though , she is able to celebrate with you at home )

  26. Merry Christmas.
My thoughts are with you and your daughter. It is horrible that she has become so ill. It is a bit of a game-changer. One of my friends also had dreadful complications at this time of year because of an underlying health condition. These complicated situations are dreadfully hard to understand. I hope she pulls through with the support of your hospital team. Help Heather make decisions based on her health needs. At least you can feel safe in the knowledge that you have good health care available and loving support within your family.
Best wishes. Hold Christmas in your heart the whole year through.
