A Visit To a Friend's Garden

Recently we were invited to dinner at a friend's garden.

It was a beautiful afternoon and we had a lovely time visiting and exploring the garden.

The roses were in full bloom and the birds were singing as they visited the two feeders in the garden.

Come along and we will take a little tour.

Lavender and Snapdragon stand at attention against the house.

Two varieties of Clematis bloom along the fence.

More roses bloom alongside.

Blue Fescue forms a border.

A pretty view from our table.

Old fashioned Pincushion flower.

Happy yellow blossoms of Potentilla form a small hedge.

This beautiful rose is called Joseph's Coat.

A lovely combination of purple Veronica and chartreuse Variegated Boxwood.

Hibiscus grows behind, not yet blooming.

A shady corner gets Hosta and Ferns

We had a wonderful time with good friends in their beautiful garden.

And as we made our way home, we were escorted by the setting sun.

A lovely end to a wonderful day.

Sunset over the distant Olympic Mountains of Washington State

Wishing you a lovely day, too!

xoxo
