A Tribute to Mothers

I bought my Mother roses, although she is not here.

But I will place them on her grave so she will know I care.

xoxo

Although she is no longer with us, I do feel my Mother's spirit in the loving memories and traditions that she passed down to us.

For as we celebrate Mother's Day we must remember that we follow in footsteps passed down from generation to generation.

And in honoring Mothers, we must also honor Grandmothers and their Grandmothers before them.

For with Motherhood, although each family is unique, we share a common bond.

With the same goals and purpose.

To raise the next generation of Mankind.

For I truly believe that the hand that rocks the cradle,

rules the world.

xoxo

I hope you know how important you are!

I hope you had a lovely Mother's Day!

xx

  8. What lovely flowers for your mother. I hope you had a great celebration yourself. And speaking of our foremothers, you look SO like Beatrice Euphemie herself! I was really struck by that recently, since you put the photo of her on your sidebar.
