But the best time of the year is to come now, this and early spring.<br />You say a dry spell for 4 months; wow. But if you have condensation on the mirror and windows inside, it is even more so outside and that will provide plenty of humidity for plants to survive. Judging from your grass, it is still in very happy condition, as are your flowers.<br />You should see our grass after a dry spell... ad the plants. This summer we had plenty of showers so everything is lush and green, including the weeds. We no longer break our backs for taming them totally down.<br />Love the way you mention your upcoming joy for having apples; surrounded with a pie crust!<br />No, apples don't grow here because of the heat. We don't have enough cold days for them to thrive. So that's another bonus for your area.<br />Stay well and enjoy your lovely home and garden!
