I find it more difficult now to remember the Latin names of plants, but can usually recognize what family a species belongs to. All the quotes and observations and outstanding photos. I am wowed! I can't imagine holding a hummingbird in my hands. And I appreciate these posts so much. The Foxglove is so pretty, and Nel just came across it on her trip to England, and it was the same color as this. The Tiger Moth is pretty for a moth, they are usually so bland looking. Oh, I think I would have liked to gather some of those raspberries and take them home with me. What a blessing it is to see the Buck on your walk. That was a sweet story of the hummingbird. And I've always thought it was a special gift when we see the grand Eagle. Nature seems to always make us feel better, when we take the time to visit and gaze upon the earth. I love your mountain in the distance. I'm so glad you got a chance to do that recently. It does a body good.

Happy August, dear Karen.

~SheriRed Rose Alleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02685747099912989862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-999880454764041260.post-40813424004082212122022-08-02T13:11:31.436-07:002022-08-02T13:11:31.436-07:00Surprise, Karen! You are a wonderful guide and so in-tune to your area. I'm intrigued by the tansy flowers and we must have them around here from what I looked up. I'll keep my eyes open. I can see fairies everywhere in your magical woods. 😉 I remember when my gf and I were kids we would pick wildflower bouquets of queen Anne's lace, buttercups, daisies and Indian paintbrush and put them in glasses all over the house. And hummingbirds will forever be my favorite! Although, I've had a lot more eagles and owls around this summer. Blessings to you my Lovely. xoxocarrie@northwoods scrapbookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16337824046780952876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-999880454764041260.post-28405286234706292092022-07-31T22:06:49.281-07:002022-07-31T22:06:49.281-07:00Beautiful pictures!
